OCEAN

Our work centres on health services research in primary health care. We are a multidisciplinary team with undergraduate and postgraduate educational backgrounds in nursing, allied health (physiotherapy and dietetics), Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health, medicine (general practice), psychology, health information management, information technology, statistics, epidemiology and public health. Our University of Sydney team members are part of the Sydney School of Public Health, Sydney School of Health Sciences and the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery. Our University of Wollongong team members are part of the School of Nursing. NAATSIHWP team members are from the Office of the CEO, and Policy, Projects & Research.

Our team have expertise and experience in the entire research process from the formulation of study questions, to grant applications, development of protocols, study logistics, project management, data collection and classification, statistical and analytical techniques, report writing, publishing, proposals, and recommendations and translation into policy and practice. The OCEAN core team is based in the Edward Ford Building at the University of Sydney.
