Governance

The OCEAN study is supported by dedicated groups that provide strategic advice and governance oversight.
The Ocean Study University Advisory Committee consists of academic experts who provide advice to the study team.

The OCEAN Indigenous Data Sovereignty Group has been established to oversee the use and interpretation of any data collected from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Its membership includes Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander academics, representatives from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peak bodies and community members.
